The Upscale Bunny is founded by a rabbit owner of 6 beautiful indoor free roam rabbits; Hazel, Emma & Shadow (Flemish Giants), Roux & Crispin (Lionheads) and Layla (Holland Lop). It all began with our late rabbit named, Leo. Leo was a very picky hay eater, this caused various health issues from G.I. stasis to dental disease. Noticing that Leo loved foraging blends and thinking of ways to entice him to not only eat hay but to also chew on something dense enough to wear down those continuously growing teeth rabbits have. We began by making a product line using loofahs as the main ingredient garnished with various cookies made from oat flour & fresh fruit, dried herbs, flowers, veggies and fruits suitable for rabbits. Leo began chewing on these treats gnaws, beginning to wear down those teeth that had to be dremeled by a vet every other month. From there we created an Etsy shop dedicated to creating treat chews safe with the added benefit of helping to wear down rabbit teeth, to creating wooden hay feeders/furniture for rabbits and now creating a monthly subscription box for pet lovers and their furry friends to get a variety of our products at a fraction of the cost on Etsy. The rest is history!
